Dr. John Vani joined the Moberly Regional Medical Center staff in January 2023. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in orthopaedic sports medicine, Dr. Vani specializes in surgical and medical treatment of fractures and dislocations, arthroscopy and sports medicine, musculoskeletal disorders and complications, joint replacement and many others.

Dr. Vani completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed his fellowship in sports medicine at Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre in Perth, Western Australia.

Dr. Vani is a member of a number of professional organizations, including American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Association and more. Additionally, he has served as team physician for many athletic teams including Kansas City T-Bones Minor League Baseball, Kansas City Outlaws Minor League Hockey, Amarillo Dillas Minor League Baseball and the Amarillo Gorillas Minor League Hockey.
